Storm damage can be several different things. Hail damage can be hard to spot, and it is almost impossible to see without getting on the roof. The bad thing about hail is that even small hail can damage the granulars of the shingle. The granular coating on the shingle protects the interior of the shingle from UV rays. Once this protection is gone, the shingle begins breaking down much quicker and can shorten the life of your roof by a decade or more. It also is much more likely that your roof is going to begin slowly leaking potentially causing mold and structural damage.  

Wind damage can mean broken shingles, missing shingles, or bent shingles. If you see anything that looks like shingle damage from wind, give us a call so that we can do a roof inspection and see if there is any actual damage.
