On most homes, the old roof can be removed, and the new shingles installed in one day. For a standing seam metal roof or a commercial roof, it may take several days depending on how complicated the rooflines and the size.  

In North Carolina, a license is not required to do roofing.  However, Blue Sky Roofing is different than most roofing companies in that we are a North Carolina licensed General Contractor.  This means that you can be assured that we have the knowledge and training necessary to make sure that your roof will be installed correctly.  

Unlike many other roofing companies, Blue Sky Roofing also carries insurance for all of our projects. Don't trust Google when you search for roofers near me. A roofing company could start up overnight, purchase hundreds of fake reviews, and you would never know until your roof begins leaking and the fly by night roofing company you hired is no longer in business. Ask for references and don't just trust that they have been in business for several years. Search the NC Secretary of States website and verify they have been in business as long as they say they have and contact their insurance company to verify that they have General Liability insurance which will protect you if they damage your home or possessions.
